Who We Are?
About Our League
Founded in 1939, the organization was originally known as the Boys Club of San Antonio, providing local youth with a safe place to learn, grow, and build a brighter future. Over the years, the organization expanded its reach and impact, eventually becoming the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio (BGCSA) that serves thousands of young people across our community today.
For generations, BGCSA has been committed to developing young leaders through education, mentorship, recreation, and athletics. Our sports programs have long provided opportunities for Club members to build confidence, learn teamwork, and develop the skills needed for success both on and off the field.
Today, we continue to care for and develop our Club athletes, but our vision extends even further. Through BGCSA Sports, we are proud to serve all community athletes, creating opportunities for youth and families throughout San Antonio to participate in quality sports programs. Whether stepping onto the court, field, or track for the first time, every athlete has a place to learn, compete, and grow.
